Terms of Service

Daleel Arabi is a directory of Arab-owned businesses and Arab professionals in Southern California: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. Anyone can search it for free. Business owners can claim their listing, keep it accurate, reply to reviews, and choose a paid plan for more presentation. Visitors can leave reviews. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Review Policy, which are part of them.

We list businesses whose owner, or the professional named, has family heritage in an Arab country, and we say so on the listing with a country badge. A listing can exist before its owner has claimed it, built from public information. Any owner can have their listing corrected or removed at any time by writing to us; removal is free, immediate, and never argued. Nothing in these terms limits that.

When you claim a listing you confirm that you own or are authorized to represent the business, that the information you provide is accurate, and that the heritage you state is true. We verify claims by a human check described at /verified. The Verified badge means we confirmed the claim as described there. It is not a rating, a recommendation, a license check, or a statement about quality, and it is never sold. We may remove a badge, a claim, or a listing if we learn a claim was false.

Reviews, replies, photos and descriptions you post are yours; you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display them on Daleel Arabi and in our own communications about the site, for as long as they are posted. You confirm you have the right to post what you post, including photos. Reviews are governed by the Review Policy. We publish reviews without editing them and we never change the words of a review. We remove reviews only for the reasons in the Review Policy, never because a business pays, partners with us, or is a founding member. You may delete your own review at any time.

Voice notes. The license above does not cover voice notes; this paragraph does. A voice note you record with a review stays yours. You let us do only these things with it: store it; write it down and translate it, by AI; show the written words and the translation with your review; and let our team listen to it to check the review. We never publish the recording itself, and nobody outside our team hears it. We do not use the note or its written words in our communications, or for anything else. You end this permission by deleting your review, which deletes the note.

We host content posted by users and are not its author. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, review, or reply.

Post content you know to be false; post a review of a business you own, work for, or are related to the owner of, without saying so; offer or accept anything in exchange for a review; post anyone's private information; use automated tools to copy the directory; interfere with the site or other users; or use the site for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans. Pro and Featured are paid plans for claimed listings. Payments open in January 2027: until then nobody can buy either plan, and nothing is ever charged without a checkout you complete yourself. Every listing keeps, free: its place in search with its hours, calls and directions, its reviews and the owner's replies, and, for its owner, one number each week: the times people reached out. Pro adds the website link, the WhatsApp button, up to ten photos instead of one, a longer description and the full owner statistics. Until payments open, every listing keeps its website link and WhatsApp button and can show up to three photos. Featured includes everything in Pro and shows the listing in a block labeled "Featured" above the results of every search it matches. The order inside the block changes daily, a listing in the block is not repeated in the results below it, and Featured never changes the order of those results. Pro never changes where a listing appears in the results. Neither plan changes the Verified badge or how reviews are handled. The current prices and what each plan includes are at /pricing.

Billing. Daleel Arabi sells the plans, and Stripe processes the payments; we never see your card number. Where sales tax applies, it is shown before you pay, and you receive a receipt for each payment. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Before you subscribe we show the price, the billing period, that it renews, and how to cancel, and you must actively agree. You will receive an email confirming these terms.

Cancelling. You can cancel online at any time from your owner dashboard, in a few clicks, without contacting anyone. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan runs to the end of the period already paid. For a yearly plan we send a reminder before each renewal.

Refunds. If you want your money back within 14 days of your first charge, write to us and we refund it. After that, charges for a period already started are not refunded.

Price changes. We can change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' written notice before the new price applies. Founding members' locked prices are honored for the period stated in their founding terms.

Founding members. The first one hundred owners to claim a listing receive Pro at no charge for six months from their claim date, with no payment method required. Before the six months end we ask whether you want to keep Pro at the founding price shown at /founding, locked for 12 months from the date you subscribe. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe. If you do not, your listing continues on the free plan with everything a visitor needs to find and contact you.

We never sell your contact information. We never sell review removal or the Verified badge. We do not run banner ads. Paid position is always labeled.

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to our designated agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office: Copyright Agent, Daleel Arabi, 950 S Fairfax Ave #521, Los Angeles, CA 90036, hello@daleelarabi.com. Include the work, the location of the material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized, and your signature. We remove or disable material on a valid notice and terminate repeat infringers.

The site is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not vouch for any business listed. To the fullest extent California law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. Some limits may not apply to you under California law.

These terms are governed by California law. Before filing any claim, you agree to write to us and give us 30 days to resolve it. Claims that cannot be resolved are brought in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and either of us may use small claims court where it applies. There is no arbitration clause in these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the site and by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: hello@daleelarabi.com.
